Purchasing and Delivery

Accuracy
Please note, my signature is unobtrusively added to a corner of the artwork after the photos for the website have been taken. If you have concerns about this, please contact me and I can show you photos with the signature on before you make your purchase.

Every care has been taken to show the artwork as accurately as possible with regard to size and colour. The image you see online may show a difference due to slight variation between browsers, devices and screen settings. Any variation between the image represented and the actual artwork is not deemed a fault and slight inconsistencies will not be a valid reason for return.

Ordering
Payments are taken through PayPal in British Pounds Sterling. You do not need to have a PayPal account to purchase; you can use the PayPal service to pay with your regular debit or credit card. We do not store any of your debit/credit card details.

Packaging
To minimise unnecessary strain on the environment, I do try and reuse packaging materials when I can. This does not take away from the care or professionalism of my service. When buying new, I choose environmentally friendly options where possible, and encourage you to reuse what you receive.

Shipping Time
Original paintings will be packed and shipped within 7 days to allow time for varnishing. Pieces are sent by Royal Mail, Parcel Force or courier depending on size and weight. Most UK deliveries arrive within 3-5 days from the time of postage. Please allow three weeks for international shipping. If you need delivery by a specific date, please contact me first to make sure it can reach you in time. There may be an extra charge for rush deliveries according to your requirements.
Please note that once I have made the shipping arrangements I am not responsible for any delays that may occur.

Local Customers
If you live within a thirty minute drive from me near Shepton Mallet in Somerset, I may be able to personally deliver your artwork. To cover time, petrol and packing materials, I’m afraid there is no postage refund. Once you have placed your order I will email you and we can work out a suitable time. If you would like, at an additional cost, I can frame your work so it is ready to hang straight away.
If you are undecided between more than one painting, it may be possible to bring them to you to try in your home. Please contact me to discuss this.

Delivery costs
To keep things simple I have two flat fee rates. UK is £22. Overseas is £50. Costs contribute towards packing supplies, labour and transit fees and may be subsidised by myself.
However, if your location means the shipping costs are significantly more than this, I may need to ask for a contribution towards the extra costs of shipping. If this happens (it hasn’t happened yet!) you are of course entitled to cancel your order for a full refund.

Customs
Overseas shipments (outside the UK) may be subject to VAT, import duties and taxes according to the laws of the destination country. Any charges are at the customer’s expense. We have no control over these and accept no responsibility for additional charges.

Returns
UK customers: If you wish to return your painting, you have 14 days to contact me by email and request a refund. Once a return has been agreed, you are responsible for packing and arranging return delivery using the same service it was sent to you and with the same quality and quantity of packaging. This is at your expense. Once the piece has been safely returned I will refund the cost of the artwork within 14 days.

Overseas customers: I am sorry, I am unable to offer refunds or accept returns at this time.

Damaged parcels
All work is carefully packed and wrapped. If you receive a parcel that has been damaged in transit, please take photos of it before and after unwrapping, and contact me within 3 days.

If you have any further questions please send me an email before placing your order.
